How Treatment Starts
Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation
Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation is an in-depth, personalized assessment that examines emotional, behavioral, cognitive, developmental, and medical factors to form a complete understanding of an individual’s mental health. It integrates clinical expertise with a holistic view of the person to deliver precise diagnoses and tailored, effective treatment recommendations.
Hampton Insights puts together a tailored plan based on your child’s needs. Below is a list of Hampton Insight services.
Psychotherapy
Hampton Institute has clinicians who use the best psychotherapy techniques known, with CBT, DBT, and Executive functioning training for both adults and children.
Neuropsychological Testing
Neuropsychological testing is a comprehensive, multi-session evaluation designed to diagnose complex neurodevelopmental conditions in both children and adults, often addressing concerns like ADHD, Autism, and executive dysfunction. This involved assessment (3–4 sessions) goes beyond standard psychoeducational evaluations to provide an in-depth understanding of cognitive and behavioral functions, helping to guide precise treatment planning and necessary accommodations.
Medication Managment
Prescribe and manage appropriate medications to optimize mental health.
Psychoeducational Evaluation
The goal is to identify learning disabilities (like Dyslexia) or to determine if a student qualifies for special education services or classroom/testing accommodations. This evaluation takes place in two sessions.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Group (DBT)
Offered periodically and designed to equip individuals with practical skills for navigating intense emotions, improving relationships, and coping with distress.
Autism Diagnostic
Administration of Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) — the gold standard for diagnosing Autism. It is recommended to be combined with Neuropsychological Testing. We offer this assessment in both English and Spanish.
